Có Nên Sử Dụng Master Tempo/ Key Lock

Nhiều ông DJ cũng vui phết, chơi nhạc house nhưng lại thích nhảy aerobic, tempo lúc nào cũng kéo lút cán, đã vậy không thèm bật master tempo/key lock lên, nhạc và lời cứ éo éo, nhiều khi gặp bài tủ tính hát theo, mà mãi không bắt tone được nên thôi nghĩ hát luôn cho rồi.

Khi bài nhạc bị thay đổi tốc độ (tempo) cũng đồng nghĩa với việc cao độ (tone/key) sẽ bị thay đổi theo, nếu thay đổi tốc độ quá nhiều so với tempo gốc thì lúc này âm thanh sẽ bị biến dạng, ta thường gọi là “méo tiếng”. Hãy tưởng tượng bạn đã quá quen thuộc bài hát đó, giọng hát đó, nhưng hôm nay nghe DJ chơi bài đó và thấy hơi lạ lạ, tiếng hát không được tròn trịa, rõ ràng mà cứ méo méo lệch lệch nghe rất khó chịu.

Master Tempo/ Key Lock là chức năng cho phép giữ nguyên cao độ của bài nhạc đó, dù có thay đổi tempo bao nhiêu thì cao độ của bài nhạc cũng không bị thay đổi, làm như vậy thì âm thanh ra sẽ không bị méo tiếng nữa. Điều này cũng khá quan trọng nếu như bạn là người thường chơi nhạc và xếp playlist theo cao độ, vì nếu bạn chọn 2 bài cùng cao độ để mix với nhau, nhưng khi bạn thay đổi tempo thì vô tình 2 bài nhạc này cũng bị thay đổi cao độ, vì vậy dù đã chọn cùng tone nhưng khi mix lại nghe không liên quan.

Ưu điểm của việc này là làm cho bài nhạc được giữ nguyên cao độ, nhưng lại vô tình làm cho chất lượng âm thanh bị giảm đi. Vì vậy tốt nhất hãy chơi đúng tempo gốc hoặc trong phạm vi gần đó thôi, đừng thay đổi quá nhiều. chỉ có điều đó mới làm cho chất lượng lẫn cao độ của bài nhạc được giữ nguyên và hoàn hảo nhất.
